BabyGrade does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.
What we collect
If you create an account, we collect your email address, your scan history (synced to your account), and your subscription status. If you add a child profile, we collect the name or nickname and date of birth you enter — after an explicit consent step — used solely to show age-appropriateness information, stored encrypted, and deleted when you delete the profile or your account. Release builds collect crash and usage diagnostics only after you grant consent. We never sell data and never use it for advertising.
Barcode scans
Product barcodes you scan are used solely to look up food quality data and return a score. Scan history is stored locally on your device and, when you are signed in, is also synced to your account so it is available across your devices.
No ads
BabyGrade contains no advertising and no advertising SDKs. We do not build advertising profiles.
Children
BabyGrade is not directed at children; the app is designed for use by parents and caregivers, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Child profile information is entered by the parent or caregiver, about a child in their care, and is handled as described above.
